
Malabon City is one of the 14 cities comprising Metro Manila. Malabon City is part of the CAMANAVA sub-region or the Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela City group. Malabon city was formerly a part of Rizal province until it was integrated to the National Capital Region(NCR). Malabon City has 21 barangays with an approximate population of 338,855. Seeing a speedy urbanization, many people have decided to move and establish modern residential houses and buildings at Malabon City.
Malabon City has many things to be proud of. Rivaled with the Manila Cathedral, the Malabon Church which was built way back 1831 is known to be one of the highest and biggest churches of Christianity. Malabon City is also home of the Rufina Patis which is of export quality. Visiting Malabon Zoo and its aquarium is exhilarating. The aquarium is housed in a building which is unique for having a library about animals and fishes.
Malabon framed by the provinces of Valenzuela on the north and northeast, Caloocan City on the southwest and by Navotas on the west and southwest.
