Tayabas Bay, near Lucena City, is one of the excellent fishing grounds in Quezon Province. Other bodies of water found in Lucena City include two big rivers – Dumacaa River and Iyam River. There are few marshes along the seacoast of Lucena City, partly because most of them have been converted into fishponds.
