    Easy to retire here. I have been here for 3 years on a tourist visa. You can get a great girlfriend and cheap living with better quality of life.
    My house in Sagada is $200 a month. http://retreat.fasting.ws The retirement visa makes it all easy.

    I am an Australian have been been working for overseas companies as a consultant and residing in Philippines for the last 13 years. I currently have a working permit that will expire in July 2011. I plan to retire in Philippines and would like to know the requirements for a Retirement Visa.     How hard is it to retire in the Philippines. I just left there on 3/12 and land to have a home built there in Butuan City. Also, how long will it take to complete the investigation for the Retirement Visa. Also, Is there a cheaper way to stay in the Philippines?
