Maayong buntag! I was a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Canlaon City, 1962 - 1964.
Wow, that is AGES ago isn't it? I was 23 - 23 at the time and taught E.S.L. and Science in Canlaon Central School. It was a life-changing time for me and unforgettable. How I would love to revisit there. If you have anyinformation about the current political status in Canlaon (who is mayor? which party rules?) etc. I would be very interested. Is or was Nong, or Nonong Batista ever mayor? Talk to me...
Daghamet salaang,Thanks, Richard Johnsen

Hi Brian,
Easy to retire here. I have been here for 3 years on a tourist visa. You can get a great girlfriend and cheap living with better quality of life.
My house in Sagada is $200 a month. http://retreat.fasting.ws The retirement visa makes it all easy.
